I don't remember where exactly I saw these the other day, but they were around the Beverly Blvd and La Brea area. Anybody know if they are legitimate Banksys?

Yellow Mona Lisa

The other day I was walking around the Arts district and saw this dude painting an image of the Mona Lisa on a wall that I have never noticed before:





I asked him if I could take his picture. He looked up and said "yes". I didn't catch his name. Beyond that I didn't want to disrupt his momentum.

This mural is on a parking lot wall somewhere around Broadway and 2nd.

Magu's Aesthetics Under Hollywood and Vine

Here are pictures of some of my favorite tiles that Magu (an original member of Los Four), painted for the
Hollywood and Vine redline station. There are several dozen tiles there, and they are worth checking out.

This guy kind of looks like my dad. But I doubt he is.

Ed's Digital Mural!!!

Yesterday I got a sneak peak of Ed Fuentes' digital mural (I am a co-sponsor) that will be going up above the Regent Theater.

Its beautiful.

It will be going up soon. Possibly by this month's art walk. We'll see.

This is exciting.

Last Night's Art Walk

This has got to be the most surreal picture I have ever seen taken at downtown LA's art walk.
